Lived Expert, Current or Former Foster Youth Co-Design Consultant

Pamela aspires to work with youth and adolescents who are involved in the child welfare system by pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Political Science at Washington State University.

Pamela’s passion for helping youth began in 2020 when she joined the Co-Design Workshop sessions created by DCYF Pamela recently advocated for and voted on Washington Administrative Codes (WACs) in the Group Care Negotiated Rule-Making Project as a representative of the Lived Youth Experience Group. She also presented with Think of Us for the Washington State Vision for the Future Report in 2022. Pamela devotes time to partnering and presenting internationally with Samuel Martin’s Consulting firm.

Outside of work, Pamela loves spending time with her family, hiking, fishing, making art, and singing.
