Our Work
The DCYF Oversight Board is required to review DCYF’s progress towards meeting stated performance measures and desired performance outcomes. Our two subcommittees focus on specific outcomes and performances measures.
Annual Reports
Annual Report Subcommittee
The DCYF Oversight Board Annual Report Subcommittee is tasked with proposing a new direction for the legislatively mandated annual report by prioritizing key metrics, collaborating with DCYF, and exploring potential statutory changes. The subcommittee aims to co-create or identify metrics for the Board to track, emphasizing authentic collaboration and shared goals.

Juvenile Rehabilitation Outcomes Subcommittee
The Juvenile Rehabilitation Outcomes Subcommittee was primarily formed with the goal of evaluating the measures used by DCYF to assess Juvenile Rehabilitation outcomes and to determine whether these measures accurately reflect what is needed to assess the agency’s effectiveness in serving youth involved in the juvenile justice system.
The subcommittee is focused on three primary areas: developing and refining key metrics, monitoring safety conditions at Green Hill School, and improving institutional educational outcomes.
